religions are all really the same right?
it just seems so intuitively obvious. I mean what comes first is the instinct "to want to be religious", and then afterwards people just accept whatever is in the religion like merch while acting like it's natural that it was gonna be there in the first place. But there is no actual difference between what flows from being a christian, muslim, buddhist, etc, it's all from the same instinct of "wanting to be part of this magical thing despite scientific veracity" and then all the other differences like buildings, rites, objects are just secondary cosmetic symbols to make it feel more different as if any of that mattered in the first place. It's 100% just post hoc stuff. The most ridiculous thing in the world is if like a christian and a muslim were to debate the validity of their religions, as if the validity of their religions had any bearing whatsoever on whether they're gonna be part of that religion or not. It has 0% bearing. It's "I want to be religious, I guess I'll be christian, I guess I'll accept all this other stuff". The rest is just secondary cosmetic stuff that could've been literally anything else
