Is ok to use 10oz for sparring

I have my first match in 4 month and i always used 14oz for everthing but i buyed a pair of 10oz gloves to get used to the gloves before fighting is it ok to spar with the 10oz gloves i normally spar guys with all type of oz and im okay if my partner as 10/12 oz gloves because we don't spar too hard and i want to get used to fight with 10oz
