Hostels

Anyone can tell me if priority is given to merit position, distance, or application time?also when last time hostels were alloted?

I applied at 5:30 AM for the hostel. My merit position is in the top 20 at NUST, and I am from South Punjab. I’ve heard from some NUSTians that priority is given to students from South Punjab and far-flung areas.

Seniors, please guide!
