Saitek Throttle PS/2 > USB?

Is it possible to convert a PS/2 saitek throttle to a USB one?

I purchased a 'new' throttle on eBay, advertised as the USB version on the description. Received my package and it looks like the seller has swapped them out...the box even contains the leaflet for the USB version.

I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to convert it, before requesting a refund and leaving negative feedback. Fuming.
