Career Change

To be concise:

1. I work in finance, im a client facing call center licenced broker, despise it

2. I want to move into SWE, at this time, college is not an option. I enjoy watching my ideas come to life and preliminarily I believe that UX/UI design is most appealing.

3. not worried about AI taking my job

4. I know this is a competetive field, but I want to be involved and I want to build the best version of myself and give myself the best chance of learning efficiently without wasting my time on bs. Should I start with Python? is there a recommended course or class? or given my want to visually design should I work with Javascript and Native?

If you were to start over, or give a friend in need tips on a career change to this field, what would you do or tell them
