How are you guys actually securing touch ups? Do you have to schedule a small tattoo and get it done then?

General Advice

Hey all! So i’ve had about 5 tattoos now from a lifelong friend/artist. He’s an amazing artist who’s done a lot of B/W realism work for me. He’s very skilled, so he knows how to get them to hold. Grey washing, shading, etc etc.

Although i’m struggling to find a way to get touch ups. So one has some fine lines that are “broken” and small parts where the ink didn’t hold. Some also need to be darkened a bit further as they’ve “greyed” out with healing.

Yet i’m struggling to find how to do this. I mean, is this the type of thing like “Hey, can I get a free couple hours for some touch ups?” Or will I have to schedule a smaller tattoo, and have the touch ups done AFTER that? Every tattoo i’ve had since we talk about it, but after an 8 hour session we simply don’t have time! (And I have no more adrenaline!)

Any advice is welcome :-)
