Need help with deciding a sidearm

I am returning to red dead online and I want to good sidearm but there are a lot of options I want something that is good on ammo for pve but doesn’t disappoint in pvp I liked the sawed offs they hit like a truck in pvp and pve but I constantly find me self out of ammo and I hear the pistols are great for pvp and alright for pve but they have the same problem of running out of ammo fast I hear the navy is good for pve and its good on ammo but Im worry the navy won’t have enough firepower for pvp if you guys have a recommendation please let me know
