I recently came across a group of snuff bottles and would really appreciate some help identifying them more precisely.

I’m particularly interested in figuring out approximate age, origin/workshop if possible, and the techniques/materials represented. There seems to be a pretty wide variety in the group, and I’d rather not make assumptions based purely on appearance.

For anyone familiar with Chinese snuff bottles:

* Do any of these look particularly old or unusual?
* Are there examples that appear to be inside-painted, overlay glass, carved glass, hardstone, enamel, or another identifiable technique?
* Do any of the forms, stoppers, decoration, or workmanship point toward a particular period or region?
* Are there any bottles in the group that you would consider especially worth researching?
* If any appear to be modern reproductions, I’d be interested in knowing that as well.

I can provide individual close-ups, photos of the bottoms/marks, stoppers and spoons for any bottle that looks promising.

I’m mainly trying to learn and correctly identify what I have rather than attach optimistic attributions to them, so any explanations of *why* you’re identifying something a certain way would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
