Tunnel VPN for remote work

I have a fully remote job, I tend to travel since my hours are evening hours. I want to have a tunnel via wireguard or openvpn to my home IP, which is comcast. I bought 2 glinet routers, one for home, one for travel. I also have an old laptop. We run everything through chrome, have a SSO which can do sms. Can they detect vpn usage when I configure it all correctly and use our sales software through chrome? I will only be hardwired, no wifi, no bluetooth.
