Should I get my CVT fluid changed at 30k miles?

My 2024 accord ex has 26,000 miles on it and I just got the oil changed. The guy said I might want to do a “drain and fill” of the transmission fluid at the next service interval which should be at or just over 30k miles. Was he trying to scam me or is this legit?
