What is wrong with gamefreak?

Im sure alot of u guys know, gamefreak (one of the main development companies that make the pokemon games) have recently launched a game called "beasts of reincarnation". Now, who has actually seen a game that gamefreak has made which isnt pokemon? Because i can almost guarantee not alot of u have. Now i decided to give the game a go, it bypassed every expectation i had. The game was one of the best games ive ever played, everything u could ever want from a pokemon game is in there, for example voice acting, great themes, characters u get attached to, impeccable graphics, characters who die, difficulty modes and difficulty that isnt too easy or too hard, so it kinda begs the question, what is wrong with gamefreak. Why are pokemon games so lackluster compared to this masterpiece. I mean gamefreak is clearly an S tier development team if they can produce games like that so why dont they show it in pokemon. Ive played every pokemon game since fire red, the quality decline is real, actually i wouldnt call it quality decline i would really say pokemon hasnt moved much, look at the final fantasy series, look at the resident evil series. Their games have changed so much whilst pokemon have barely shifted from their entry games. The stories are copy and paste, u pick between three pokemon, go out on an adventure, beat elite 4, beat champion and thats it. Now in the last couple pokemon games we have seen slight differences with scarlet/violet, legends of arceus and Z-A. Theyve got open world implemented and Z-A has the battle system completely revamped, legends of arceus did amazing, and u could say it done amazing because of its story, its story is unique and epic. Dialga and palkia creating the image of arceus and pretending to be it, its unique and crafty, its something new. Scarlet on violet on the other hand flopped, imo it was amazing but the community has a very bad opinion on it. The games have framerate issues and glitches that were never fixed, these games echo off of beasts of reincarnation, beasts of reincarnation is what i imagine gamefreak was going for when making those games. I mean if they can produce diamond work like that why dont they do it, u could say hardware restrictions thats a very valid point but it could also just simply be a money grab, the pokemon company want gamefreak to produce the same copy and paste game every 4 years because it works, because it sells and because its profitable, nintendo has gamefreak on strings whilst making pokemon and it ruins the quality but in their eyes its fine because they make millions. This is all a speculation, i just thaught i would share it because its interesting, if i guys got any other ideas on this i would be more than happy to hear them
