Half the people that get ingrown hairs from shaving need to buy and use straight razors.
Seriously, inline razors need to be banned. The amount you need to spend to get an inline razor that is just barely not shit is insane when a straight razor is literally perfect and has a 50 dollar sharpness for 25 cents a unit or less. I tried literally every method of facial shaving before straight razors because i was fear mongered about them being dangerous and hard to use. They are literally better in every way
If you cut yourself, it doesn't scar because it's clean and it heals extremely quick. I cut myself a thousand times less than fighting with shitty inline razors, and i maybe cut myself 3 times when i learned. And usually it was me cutting an ingrown hair that i still had from before i switched. Not a single cut since and i shave every second day. It doesn't shred the entire top layer of your skin, it helps retain skin moisture, you never snag hairs and always have a perfect cut that prevents ingrown hairs, you don't get any razor burn at all.
And when you get used to it, you shave literally twice as fast.
Seriously people take a week and just learn, it's so fucking worth it. If i have a son i will not be teaching him on inline razors.
For anyone who doesn't like the classic style of folding straight razor, you can buy handles that make them similar to inline razors. Single use ACTUAL razors are premium quality.
Fuck inline razors.
