Has anyone successfully done inter-college migration in DU?

Has anyone here successfully migrated from one DU college to another in the 2nd year?

I’m considering inter-college migration and have a few doubts about the actual procedure. I’d really appreciate it if someone who has gone through the process could share their experience.

A few things I’m particularly confused about:

When does the migration process usually start?

How does the application/shortlisting process work?

When and from whom do you need to get the NOC?

Is the NOC required before applying or only after getting shortlisted?

What happens if the 1st-year/2nd-semester results aren't out when migration applications start?

What documents are generally required?

How does the vacant-seat/merit process work?

Is there anything I should do in advance to make the process smoother?

Would especially appreciate answers from people who have actually migrated
