Question about the List

I know this has been discussed quite a few times but lately there have been some discussion about being on the list and maybe some things changed so here my question:

I will be on the Skiplist for the first time this weekend and I am planning to make a long trip to Berlin for this occasion. My partner would love to join therefore I wanted to know if Skiplist is normally +1.
I know, it’s the bouncers decision but what’s your experience?
Unfortunately the trip would cost quite a lot of money for us (and especially her) so I am seeking some advice.
