To rehome or not?
I love my cat more than anything. She is the sweetest girl and so good with dogs, kids, and other cats. She just wants to cuddle all the time.
I’ve had her for seven years. When our toddler started walking, she stopped using her litter box. It’s been over a year now of me cleaning up cat poop and pee daily. We have been to the vet. Every cat expert and vet advice I’ve received says she needs a litter box in a place that has limited disturbances. Our house is not big enough for any place like that. She has three litter boxes, and none of them fit her needs. Recently, she had about a six week stretch of no accidents. I don’t know what’s changed, but now she’s going in the house again. How do I know it’s time to rehome? I’m worried that my toddler will find the accidents before I do. It’s gross and unsanitary and unsafe.
