It doesn't make any sense when people say that fentanyl is being added to drugs like meth

NSFWMethamphetamine

Meth is far cheaper than fentanyl is so economically it wouldn't make sense to add such an expensive drug to meth and then sell it for the cheap price that it goes for. I've heard people say that the reason for doing this would be to make the meth more addicting but meth is already an incredibly addictive drug that has no shortage of customers.

But probably the main reason why i don't believe this is because I'm a fentanyl addict myself and not once in my life have I ever gotten well from doing meth. In fact if I'm withdrawing, meth will make me 10x sicker. If there is supposedly enough fentanyl in meth to cause an overdose or make someone become physically dependent on it, then there would certainly be enough to get me well I would think.

Do I believe that there's been instances of people testing their meth and getting positive results for fentanyl? Sure, but if anything I think it's got to be from cross contamination or false positive test results. Many meth dealers also sell fentanyl and I've personally seen some of them handling the two drugs with the same hands.
