New player looking for advice on a custom blue/white bracket 3 commander deck

I've got Elminster in the commanders seat. The idea behind this deck is that it should feel fun to play opportunistically. I think this is technically a control deck but I'm a little worried it doesn't close hard enough.
I wasn't looking to find the strongest combos out there but I did want to get clever with small lines like Unexpectedly Absent + Demolition Field so that either way the opponent needs to weight their choices.
Is there anything you think I got wrong or am missing, either because it's powerful or better yet fun?
