Working my way through the Heresy books and it seems to be a tragic pattern that Primarch's just believe supernatural visions at face value when there's plenty of reason to be skeptical
- Horus believes Erebus's vision, even while knowing Erebus intentionally mislead him and is actively using warp magic which apparently was the specific reason he ignored Magnus's pleas.
- Alpharius believes the Cabal to the point he betrays the Emperor even though he has no personal reason to and logically should have remained loyal.
- Fulgrim didnt believe Ulthran's vision, but this was so far I've read the one instance where a Primarch SHOULD have believed the vision, except of course the Demon Blade.
- I don't remember if Magnus saw any vision of the outcome of the Heresy.
