Hey everyone! I’ve released a native iOS port/bridge of External Item Descriptions for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

It displays descriptions directly inside the native iOS game and supports:

\- Collectibles, trinkets, cards, runes and known pills
\- Item and card icons
\- Curse of the Blind and unknown-item protection
\- All 20 EID languages, with English fallback for missing translations
\- Adjustable horizontal and vertical positioning
\- Jailbroken devices
\- LiveContainer private apps
\- Direct dylib embedding for non-jailbroken installations

The settings button appears in the bottom-right while you are in the menu and automatically disappears during gameplay.

It currently targets the iOS 1.4 build of Repentance 1.7.9b. No IPA or copyrighted game files are distributed, you must already own the game and use your own installation.

Huge thanks to wofsauge and every contributor and translator of the original External Item Descriptions mod. The description database is included with permission from the original author.

This is still a version-specific native mod, so please report any crashes, incorrect descriptions, missing objects or UI problems on GitHub. Feedback and device-testing results are welcome!
