Is this legal in India?

Im a student of class 9th and i study in a private school since there are no government school near me. My school used to beat the sh!t out of students who have long hairs and I'm one of them, it was ok i got used to it but now my school has done a new thing that they cut students hair in school forcefully on top of it they charge 100 rupees for the haircut you didn't wanted, They got a barber that comes very 1-2 day I think idk i dont go school daily. So is this legal in India? Perhaps anything cbse said about it? lmk.
