Saw a rat at work but im worried about reporting it.

Hi, for context I work in a deli area in a grocery store, Ive only been working for a few months now but... I saw this BIG rat while at work in my department, so large it could probably take down my cat. I was startled but continued closing and told a coworker... but to be honest, I am worried about reporting it to anyone else. Could I lose my job? Will they pin the rat on me somehow? Apparently people suspected there was a rat but wasn't sure till I saw the big guy.

I am sick easily, im worried about catching something knowing my work struggles with rats now. But I can't risk calling out, I need the money. I dont think im under any type of insurance or anything so if I catch something sick leave probably isnt an option, let alone paid, especially because I am part time.
