Today, once again, I’m sharing my 48th drawing featuring Sajin—but this time, I’m celebrating International Wolf Day. Because yes, Sajin deserves to celebrate this day too.

As we know, wolves have often been viewed as evil creatures; in many places, they are associated with malice and seen as dangerous beasts. In Bleach, however, it is quite the opposite. Despite being an anthropomorphic wolf-man, Sajin proved himself to be loyal, brave, and noble, with a heart of gold. He was willing to fight for and defend the home that had once rejected him; he protected Ichigo from Sosuke and lifted his spirits, and he also shielded Momo, Shinji, and various other Shinigami during the final arc—risking his own life to save them and proving that he valued them more than revenge.

I’ve always loved Sajin and his animalistic appearance—he looks amazing as a wolf-man, and he’s even more endearing when he’s with his nephews in the same squad. What better way to celebrate than by inviting Sajin and a special guest like Garr? After all, they are both brave, noble wolves with great souls.

Happy International Wolf Day!

I hope you like it—and I’ve just started using a new sketchbook.
