J1 visa taking forever

Going to do an internship in the US, initiated by my university in Singapore. Born and raised in Singapore, used to have a Chinese passport because of my parents. All my peers in the same program got their visa issued within 2-3 days (even the Chinese and Indian citizens) after the interview in the US embassy. I have been waiting for 9 days (6 business days) and my status is still stuck at “approved” on the CEAC website. My internship start date will probably be delayed because of this. Anyone knows how long more will it take?
