Is Bonesmashing haram?

I’m trying to grow my cheekbones and used to smash them and I noticed them grow a bit but stopped because someone said they are haram. Since this isn’t plastic surgery and it’s just naturally growing the bone basically I’m still wondering is it permissible or not.
