Trying to get my first cycle, very annoyed at Stealth B for making me get better at the game

Normally when I run Stealth B, I just restart any run where I don't come out strong on sector 1, but now I'm trying to actually win most of these. I never bothered using Zoltans for power cycling, powering down weapons right before the enemy fires, depleting oxygen to manipulate targeting, cycling crew into that awful medbay, heck I rarely ever considered avoiding fights based on matchups.

Now I'm trying to actually to win every run I get, and it's forcing me to have a good enough understanding of all of these. I've so far lost either a run or a good chunk of crew/hull due to not being good enough at these yet. Stupid Stealth B, making me get good enough at the game to complete a cycle. Grumble grumble.
