2025 repair costs

For all the true owner-operators who actually keep track of their expenses, how much did you spend in 2025 on repairs alone?

I’m trying to get a realistic comparison for what I’m currently spending on repairs in 2026.

I’m not including normal maintenance or regular wear items like oil changes, tires, filters, PMs, etc.

I’m talking specifically about things that broke, failed, or needed repair, such as:
Injectors / fuel system
Engine repairs
Turbo
Transmission
Axle / differential
EGR / DPF / SCR / DEF system
AC / HVAC
Cooling system
Electrical issues, sensors, wiring, modules
Air compressor
Suspension / steering components
Wheel seals, hubs, bearings
APU repairs
Towing / roadside breakdown repairs
Other unexpected mechanical failures

Basically, if it hadn’t broken, you wouldn’t have spent the money.

I’m just curious what your total repair bill for 2025 looked like. If you had one or two especially expensive repairs that made up a big chunk of that total, feel free to mention those too.
