I have a round of interviews scheduled but may want to withdraw, should I cancel?
Hi All,
A company I am very interested in and use to work for has a few open positions. I maybe impulsively applied once I saw a position that fit my background, and I figured eh why not apply.
Well I completed the hiring manager interview and now they want to schedule 4 rounds of technical interviews.
That is good news, however , I doubt they’re going to be able to be competitive on comp (even though recruiter seems to think they can), and I also still like where I’m working now and don’t necessarily want to leave. It’s also challenging to find 4 hours of interview time to carve out, but I can make that work, just don’t love I have to to take time off work if I’m not really fully interested.
Should I continue with the interviews scheduled for next week just to see it through, or should I withdraw early knowing the prospects of everything working out in a way I’d actually take the job if offered are not high (who knows if I’d get through technical interviews)? I want to keep the company in my good graces since I use to work there and want to have good relationship with them
