Battery not holding a charge. Mice? 2001 4 cylinder 2.7l prerunner

Swapped the alternator and checked the battery. Everything is good but I still need to jump the truck everytime I turn it on. Otherwise its running like a champ.

Then yesterday I noticed some foam in my vent. I parked at my parents farm for a few days a week ago and the problems started the day after I picked it up. What places should I look for a chewed wire or new rodent nest to try and get that short fixed?

PS. It will charge to full on a trickle charger but will be dead by the morning if I take it off.
