Job titles?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what do they do?

Patricia

Gerry

Dale

I know Ruth is Tom's secretary and babysitter and Kenny is the janitor, but what about the others? Are they all just vaguely "Assistant to the Mayor" or something?

Thanks for any assistance with this mystery (for me)
