Closed Sleeves

Has anyone else noticed that the closed sleeves almost seem to trap air near the top which expands the top of the sleeve into a bit of a bubble? I’m wondering if that’s by design or if there’s anything I should be doing to ensure a fit that’s more snug near the top?
