Can Taliferro tell if you made the dish or not?

The dish this week was chocolate cake. I had an extra chocolate cake in the fridge and I gave it to him. He had a disgusted look on his face and when he tasted it, he asked me if I actually made it. I completed the challenge anyway.

I didn’t mean to trick him but I didn’t have a chocolate bar to make the cake. 😩
