Feeling embarrassed abt my preference in guys, why am i like this? 😭

I’m 21 and I’ve just realised something about myself that I’m honestly kind of embarrassed about lol

My last boyfriend was younger than me, and before that I’ve basically only been interested in guys who were either my age or younger than me. I’ve literally never dated an older guy.

A few days ago this guy who’s 23 approached me and I genuinely thought okay?? maybe?? but I just… felt NOTHING 😭 Like absolutely nothing. He wasn’t even unattractive or anything, there was just zero spark from my side.

And now I’m noticing that I seem to naturally be more interested in guys who are around my age or younger than me and I don’t even know WHY 😭😭

It’s not even like I have some huge thing against older guys, because 23 is literally only two years older than me lmao, but for some reason my brain is like NOPE.

And honestly I feel weirdly ashamed and embarrassed about it?? Like why am I 21 years old and apparently my type is just… guys my age or younger 😭

Is this just me?? Does anyone else notice themselves being more attracted to people younger/the same age rather than older? Or am I just being dramatic and overthinking this 💀
