I just shipped a social network for SaaS founders
Building SaaS can be weirdly lonely.
You spend weeks obsessing over an app, ship something you're proud of and then realize you're building for no one.
X is noisy.
Most founder communities eventually turn into self-promotion channels.
And it can be quite hard to just find other people who are ONLY just building things.
So I built Buildside.
The idea is simple: a social network specifically for SaaS founders and builders.
A place to:
- share what you're building
- post wins, failures and lessons
- get feedback from other founders
- learn valuable things from other founders
- discover interesting SaaS products
- meet people going through the exact same problems you are
- follow builders you actually want to learn from
I don't want it to become another place where everyone is pretending to make $100k MRR and selling you a course.
I want it to feel like walking into a room full of people building companies from their bedrooms, apartments, coffee shops that really get you.
Some have 0 customers.
Some have 1,000.
But everyone is building.
And because it's brand new, the people joining now are basically shaping what the community becomes.
And sure you might say "It will become a self-promotion platform like the rest", perhaps (hopefully not) but its worth the try!
So if you're working on a SaaS, even if it's still just an idea or you haven't made your first dollar yet, I'd genuinely love to have you there.
