Too afraid to visit the local mosque.

Assalamualaikum my Brothers and Sisters. Im a newly convert from somewhere in central Europe.

Ive been so far doing the Five daily Prayers with the support of my friends from the far east, yet every time I go to mosque I tremble, sometimes a bit ventilate. Sometimes Im way too scared of going in. Is this normal? Is there any way you would suggest to overcome this issue?
