Did I just witnessed a UFO? 🛸

Discussion

I was sitting outside in a chair when I looked up and saw something completely strange in the sky. It was a silverish metallic, sphere-shaped object floating in the air way behind the house, well above the height of the roof.

The object looked perfectly smooth, shiny, and completely solid. It was massive like way bigger than a bird or any normal consumer drone.
It moved slowly, cleanly, and steadily straight down on a vertical trajectory before it got blocked by the distant house. What made it feel impossible for it be caused by humans was its stability. It was quite windy outside at the time, but the object stayed perfectly, eerily still on its own axis. It didn't tilt, wobble, spin, or anything at all while it was descending. It was totally silent too like no mechanical hum, engine noise, or any visible wings or exhaust trails.

The moment I saw it, I froze up completely. My brain ran through the usual checklist trying to rationalize it like thinking is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a drone? Is it a balloon? but my brain was just like nope, nope, nope! It rejected every single possibility because none of them matched up to whatever I was looking at in the sky. I just couldn't believe what I was witnessing.

I actually forgot about the whole thing pretty quickly afterwards as my mind tried to go back to normal. But weeks later, I was watching a UFO video on YouTube about the Pentagon's new declassified files on tracked metallic orbs it brought me right back to that memory.

It happened in UK but I’m not disclosing where i specifically live.

I need an explanation for this!
