Am I “ok” with what I have in the bank?

Full disclosure: I live near Los Angeles with a monthly net income of about 7k. After all bills paid and filling up my fridge, I usually have about 3k leftover sitting in the bank. How do I compare to the rest of the US? Am I in a healthy financial position. I still feel somewhat poor living in the LA area despite some saying I’m in a good spot while some also say 3k is nothing in LA. I also know this all depends on other spending but generally speaking, am I “ok?”
