Can't ping enemies with discord when they're out of LOS anymore?

Pretty much the title. Before this new patch, when playing Zen I could ping an enemy that I discorded even if they were out of LOS. I always found this extremely helpful for communicating to my team, but now it doesn't work. It just pings the wall. I can't find any info about it in the patch or settings. Is this a change or a bug? Is this happening with any other zen players?
