Is there a good place to find other people to play TF2 with?

I guess what I mean by this is are there forums or servers where people organize times to play with each other that are still pretty social? I've just been trying to find new people to play and talk with, but I don't really know where to look other than just trying to ask people in servers if they want to add me on Steam which doesn't really have a lot of success.
