First Timer in Italy September 1-9

We’re honeymooning in Italy from September 1–9 and would love some recommendations!

We’ll be in Rome Sept. 1–4, where we’ve booked a golf cart tour to see the major sights and a Colosseum tour. We haven’t booked much else yet, since we’re open to doing things last-minute.

Then we’re heading to the Amalfi Coast Sept. 4–9. We’re planning a day trip to Capri (Blue Grotto + chairlift), a guided lemon farm experience, and a day exploring the coast with stops in Ravello, Amalfi, etc.

We’d love recommendations for:

• Must-try restaurants/foods
• Romantic/honeymoon experiences
• Designer shopping (especially in Rome or along the Amalfi Coast)
• Any hidden gems or experiences that you think are absolutely worth doing

We love food, history, and exploring, and we’re definitely open to splurging on a few special experiences since it’s our honeymoon!
