rebounds and ex coming back

hi. so my ex and i had a very borderline abusive and toxic relationship. i had lied to her throughout the whole relationship pertaining to betrayal related issues. not cheating. both verbally abusive and etc. she had reached her breaking point and we broke up after conversations about it and back and forth for two weeks. she instantly started talking to new people, one kiss hook up, met one talking stage, the rest online. mind you, i was not better. i dated someone else, had sex with them, multiple talking stages/flings etc. however, hers was more prominent and right away, i had given it a month or so more time. she eventually came back to apologize say sorry etc, and we ended up getting back tg bc the love was still there and we ended it with our “rebounds”. i know this is a sort of double standard that im worried about it, but i can’t tell if she came back bc she truly loved me and missed me and was truly rebounding, or if she came back bc she missed the comfort of having something work. i know a lot of people say if she leaves and then comes back after flinging, she doesn’t really miss you. i’ll gladly answer anymore questions.
