Can i ask my manager to extend my internship

For context i’m a senior in university, I’ll be graduating in 8 months. I’m currently working corporate as a marketing intern.
I really like the company and pay structure but considering it’s a summer full-time my time at the company is limited. Im on a contract that says an extension could be done if both parties agree. I am going back to school in fall and can work part time, Is this a valid ask? I’ve been doing my tasks and projects diligently and proactively asking for other miniscule tasks. I even have been preparing a pitch deck and competition analysis for the manager to see my progress. Am i on the right track?
Can i do anything more considering i have 2 weeks left? Any advice is appreciated and welcome!
