Renewing Lease with parking - Calgary

Hi all,

We moved into a brand new condo last year, and signed the lease including 2 parking stalls at $175 a month - $350 total. When moving in, my parter’s mom (of all people!!) managed to charm the property manager into offering us one space free of charge, I don’t how she did it. So for the last 12 months, we’ve been paying $175 with no issues, despite our lease saying $350.

Time to renew, there’s been probably 5 different property managers in the last year or so, no idea why, Its suddenly dawned on me that they will spot this discrepancy- and have a legal right to demand this money as that’s what we signed up to?

We want for renew. But I don’t want to end up actually paying more than last year, we should really be paying less as we’ve never missed a payment and we’re good tenants.
