Hello,

35M, 16stone 6lbs, don’t smoke, don’t drink anymore.

I first noticed a bulge below my right calf 9-12 months ago.

Because it felt squidgy, had no clear defined edges and caused no pain I’ve just been keeping an eye on it.

However, my friend mentioned it could be sarcoma, and now I’m in a full on panic. I have severe health anxiety and I’m very worried.

Since I first noticed it, I feel it has got marginally larger. It still feels like just skin with fat underneath and then muscle I think?

Characteristics:

It is much more noticeable when I stand on tip toes and tense my leg

Left side is normal

If I relax my leg it is much harder to spot

If I put my ball of foot against something I can feel maybe muscle? If I love my foot away from pressing/holding weight it goes

If I sit flat on something and tense/intense my legs it appears when feet are straight, but almost disappears (can still just see it) when pointing feet upwards

I appreciate you cannot make any sort of diagnosis over an image and some text, but if someone could help categorise just how dangerous this potentially is I’d appreciate it.

I can’t get in to see a dr for 3 months, and I have a newborn, I want to enjoy my time with her rather than be worrying about this…
