Why is it that in progressive culture POC can talk about racism among white women and the feminist movement but it's taboo for white women to talk about sexism among men of color and the racial justice movement?

Life 🌏

This is something I've noticed my whole life. Like POC have no problem saying "oh this racist white woman was following me around the store because she thought I was going to steal or something!". There are also tons of articles in the mainstream media that document the history of racism among white feminists.

Yet the history of misogyny among those in the Civil Rights and Racial Justice movement is taboo unless you only talk about how to fax women of color.

Last week some guy was littering near where I live. As non-conferredational as possible I asked him not to. And he goes off on a tangent "suck my dick you white bitch suck my dick you white ugly bitch" and so on. Yet it's taboo for me to gripe about this since it reveals the fact that it was a racial minority who did it. I've also seen accusations of racism be leveled to bully white women into putting up with abuse from poc. That too is taboo to talk about. But if it's the other way around there's no hesitation to talk about it.

As a disclaimer, I live in the US. And I live in a very very Progressive state, County and city. I get that among those on the right these things are not taboo to talk about. That's why my hea line stressed that is progressives. I also realize this observation might not be true everywhere.

I know conversations like this make people both defensive and accusatory.
