Overnight Guests in Yugo Accomodation

My girlfriend is studying for a year in Paris, at one of the Yugo accomodations. I'd like to visit her, but on the website Yugo France specifically says no overnight guests. This is true for many accomodations around the world, obviously. However, at least in the UK, they basically never enforce this.

I was just wondering if, in anyone's experience, does Yugo France often actually try to enforce this? Or do they not bother in reality? Is it safer to just try to find a cheap hotel room or Airbnb?

Posting because the other posts like this aren't about Yugo specifically, from what I can find.
