Designer Mindset

I’ve seen island designs that mirror a real city or neighborhood, I’ve seen designs that take specific portioned areas and make little self-contained scenes everywhere, and everything in-between.

I think that my island is a dreamlike place built with toys. That gives me a flexible place to start from. If I think of it as trying to mimic a real place, it’s too frustrating. But I’m a perfectionist. The thing about dreams is, they’re a little funny by their nature.
