Playing on PC through the Xbox app

Wondering if anybody else has the same issue. I downloaded the game through the Xbox app on PC, so this makes me incapable of claiming things through the Koda store for the account because it is only linked through steam in that store.

I’m assuming there is no workaround? I wanted to claim the Suarez
