Message to the unhappy people in this sub

Discussion

I am tired of all the people in this subreddit who keep ranting about exemptions. I understand that some of y'all are writing 13 papers right from scratch, and that is truly commendable but don't talk down on people with exemptions.

I will take myself as an example. I am a final bcom student and 9 exemptions were granted to me. I completed sbr few months ago and I plan to do both afm and sbl together in upcoming December. Acca integrated bcom course required an additional 3 lakhs in my college and it is extremely difficult to cover both college work and acca preparation at the same time.

Exempted students have to put so much effort without prior knowledge to clear p level papers and we also have to pay the college so much for acca integration and separate coaching fee for acca, that adds up to 3.5 lakhs in my case. I only took acca, becuz a lot of acca students in my college get placed in big4s and global mncs every year.

There is a lot of misinformation and lies being spread about how acca affliate/members with exemptions get rejected by companies . Ey and Deloitte regularly hire audit associates from our college and they have never asked about exemptions, my seniors say it is same deal outside campus as well. Idk, according to some y'all, maybe some mid tier companies care about exemptions depending on the job.

People in this sub who are unable to complete all the 13 papers, lash out on acca and exemption students by making up shit and try to demotivate others. I hope all the negative people in this sub introspect and accept their weakness. Exemptions aren't the reason why you get rejected by companies, Acca and any other professional qualification like CPA, CMA,CFA alone will never land you a job, you need skills, communication and most importantly luck.

If you still don't care about my rant and believe that acca is a scam, then go ahead and try some other qualification and stop spreading your negativity here.
