Making games is great until I remember I have to to back to work

Discussion

Basically my title. I've been having so much fun editing videos, making games and participating in jams. I've been also engaging with the jams communities and it's so, so nice to engage with people who have a love for making games.

But the joy and dopamine spike I get with every new game is quickly washed away with a heavy reality check that I'm just a nobody still.

I make games yeah, but I still have a job that I hate with a terribly toxic amd degrading manager.

I tell myself I can't wait to make a career off of it, bit realistically it'll only ever be a fun hobby.

Geez, I sound so edgy, but I'm sure there's lot of people who feel the same way I do. Maybe one day things will change, but I just hope Mt passion doesn't run dry with me woeking 2 jobs and my sanity away!
