All I ever see here are the x series and modern blades. Does anyone still prefer to use the original blades and the HMS blades? Like the HMS easily can compete with the newer blades that are basically the same thing, just uglier imo.

I have a pretty decent collection from when I was a kid (all OG and HMS) and have been wanting to get back into it but if nobody uses real blades anymore I don't see the point. When I hear beyblade I think of dragoon, dranzer, etc, not the modern stuff. 

I assumed many posts here would be about cool custom blade combos but it seems to predominantly be people just hoarding modern blades. Does anyone even customize their blades anymore with fun parts combos? Don't people do wild, innovative, (non bey parts) ideas and combos like we all tried out as a kid, like using a nail as the tip and running dual weight discs and similar things to that? Swapping tips of launchers to run HMS blades on OG long ripcord launchers? Just fun customs? Does anyone even run OG or HMS anymore at all?

Pic of about half of my blades, all the fun customs and some origional. I have a huge ziploc full of parts and another big ziploc with about 30 launchers and ripcords too and a box with 60+ bit beasts.

Does anyone still prefer the OG blades?
